Very small so you can easily get to know everyone. Natural Sciences course is very small too so everyone is really tight. Chemistry department have great facilities. Student union is a bit disorganised and doesn't do things in the most logical way (also to get a job there it is more of a popularity contest than verifying that individuals have the required skills and a track record commitment to things relevant to the role people apply for). Student support is quite limited as opendoor is the only suggested way of seeking mental help and disability services can take long to give people a student support plan.

Great chemistry lab facilities, lots of lectures by experts in their fields but maybe too much content especially in terms of third year chemistry lecture contact hours.

Great accomodation for the price. Maintenance always available to fix problems quickly. Good internet overall. Also great social opportunities related to the colleges in York

I think that… this uni is so so so Amazing. Staff, student union and students are all very welcoming, accommodation are modern and colleges get along very well. I would recommend this uni to everyone :)
