My overall experience at this university has been wonderful. I enjoy Plymouth as a city and I like that the campus is embedded within the city centre. It makes everything very accessible. I have had a strong relationship with the majority of my tutors and always felt they were there to support if needed. I felt that societies were a good way to socialise in the first year but really I think halls were essential for me to find my friendship group. I also had a part time job and would recommend this to anyone thinking to study. I believe that you get back what you put in at uni so you can do as well as you want to. I would have changed the cost of the fees for studying during the pandemic. This is for sure. I also felt that due to strikes there was some important learning lost. I support the tutors striking but thought they could receive a pay rise, which is up to the university. Anyway, when in Plymouth, absorb the outdoors, travel to the Moors, visit the beaches, walk the coastal paths, take up water sports. I promise these things shall only enhance your experience here, after all it is the ocean city!

The course hours were fine, I felt I usually had time to complete my own study and assignments with plenty of time spare. I would recommend assigning more than one tutor to a module. If one tutor is sick, another can teach the content in their place!

I loved the social aspect to it. I liked the kitchen but it was hard to keep clean, mainly due to slobs in the house not the actual halls. I loved the en suite, would recommend. Sometimes, it was long to go through all the doors.
