Facilities and general infrastructure for uni is very very modern and built well Many study options Blackboard a tad bit confusing Library very big, many offers, easy to borrow books

Only been here for 3 weeks, only here for an exchange semester Topics very interesting but large load of course readings, also kind of hard courses

Oak House is very social and Fallowfield campus in general is very nice However, you will have a longer way to uni, busses are offen cramped Oak house needs maintenance or at least some renovations Accommodation is way more expensive in the uk compared to Germany WiFi is very good, though my LAN does not work, beyond that, you can only use eduroam Rooms in oak house are not as cheap as they should be for the space of the rooms to be honest, kind of feels like a prison sometimes

My French course here at Manchester has been trés fantastique! The lecturers and seminar leaders are really helpful and being taught by experts is really inspirational, and encourages you to want to do well when they’re marking your work. The student union is also really good, and throws good events such as Pangaea festival, which has been on twice since I’ve been here at uni. The themes of circle of life and under the sea were really fun and the events were so good they were almost worth coming to uni here for alone!
