I love UA92 because I study for only part of the day (the AM), this allows me to have a part time job and a great social life alongside going to university. Also, there are no exams, which is great for someone like me who finds it hard to concentrate during exams and finds to hard to express my knowledge into a set number of questions. The way you are assessed are guided and you can ask for as much help has you need which is amazing. If you are ever struggling with work or any personal issues there is always someone there to talk to. I chose to study at UA92 because it fit my personality. There are no old style lecture theatres or halls where you sit endlessly for hours, every lesson is fun and engaging where you learn whilst having a great time. One final thing I love is how easy it was to make friends. Due to there being so many social activities put on for students both during uni and after uni, I have had so many opportunities to meet new people and bond with people over things we share interests. I couldn't thank the staff at UA92 or the people behind the scenes enough for all they do for us! Honestly UA92 has it all!!

I am in uni 9-1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This gives me Wednesday as a digital and online learning day to either catch up on anything I have missed or maybe not completely understood or gives me the time to do some extra reading. Having this day is really vital, not only for a (kind of) mid week break but also to give myself the chance to really get a grasp on my assignments (if any) or any content. At UA92 we are taught 1 block at a time with the same lecturer per block. This is great for building relationships with the lecturer and really great for when you need help because the class sizes are only small and the lecturers know you individually. Overall, I love the way we are taught at UA92 because it feels very personal and guided whereas at other unis I don't believe you would have this same experience.

Academy apartments are located just over the road from the Old Trafford campus and only a short tram ride away from the Spinningfields campus that UA92 have. This makes them really convinent for someone like me who likes to stay in bed till the very last minute. The apartments are very secure with a door code on the front door and intercom for guests to use when visiting. Meaning that only people you live with have the code. The post room has been given a lock code for extra security and there are cameras located on every floor. Overall, the security of the building is very high and I have never felt unsafe. I requested a certain type of room when i registered my interest for the apartments and I received the exact room I asked for. My neighbours are also really lovely and friendly. The internet is on and off but always gets fixed rather quickly if you report it to be faulty. The only reason I have given in 3* is because often it can become slow or can break as mentioned but when it does work properly its great. I have a medium apartment which is currently £259 per week. This can sound like alot however, my apartment has its own hallway, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. This price is inclusive of all bills- water, electric, heating etc. However, there is no common room/ social space so we go into eachothers apartments which is still really nice but it would be better if there was a common area for people to gather or meet up in. The property is managed by both the landlord (and her company) and the uni accomodation team. Overall, I would say the property is managed really well by both parties however, sometimes it takes a while for some issues to be addressed or sorted. BUT, most of the time they are on top of things. The cleaner is also really lovely as is here multiple days a week cleaning the front entrance, the stairs, lift and hallways on every floor. As a whole, I love the apartments and I know i wouldnt have made as many friends as i have if i hadnt moved into them.
