Great campus life. Very supportive staff and peers Feels a bit isolated and far from everything.

A lot of the lectures are uploaded online which is very helpful in case of an emergency or if you want to go over some material.

It's right in the middle of campus and close to everything. Wasn't my first choice but I'm loving it now.

My course is great, the Maths department is fantastic. I also think the Chaplaincy team is amazing. Campus is nice and conveniently located near to lots of affordable off-campus housing, even if it’s not in the most exciting area. On campus, everything is a bit overpriced, but if you live off-campus it doesn’t have to affect you much.

My modules are generally well structured and engaging, everything is taught in person but lecture notes and recordings are readily available online. Contact hours are high but this is to be expected from a demanding course with a large workload. Lecturers and TAs are helpful, with weekly office hours & seminars respectively. Sometimes timetabling works out a bit rough especially since there is a lot of compulsory modules in the first two years but past that there’s much more freedom.

It was fine to stay in for the year, very convenient location near the supermarket and my department. It was a roof over my head. It was overpriced for what it was, however, and this was in 2022-23 so it’s much worse now.
