good place to study but not only in 2 days a week, paying a lot to not be timetabled in. easy access to library and easy to work myhud
Excellent Campus and Facilities The tutors are helpful and supportive. The learning tools are intuitive and practical. The library is extensive and the staff are extremely helpful.
The tutors are good, they provide very good support for everyone.
It’s a great space to study even on your days off the library’s great with a lot of resources and the best is the canteen has good food !
The staff are always there to support you, especially if you are taken on sick leave. They always check up on your wellbeing and make sure you have everything available and ask if you need anything to help with studying. They are understanding and considerate to every circumstance you're in. The worst aspect would be the constantly changing every year, so you don't get exactly what you signed up to do. However, it is understandable and the university try to make sure you get what you need and want, and help support you if you are doing something you don't want to do.
Good location, easy to get to. Some things arent communicated and suddenly added to timetable, Card scanners also do not work from time to time
The best is the people and the great environment that is within this university. It is very comfortable to be within and has an atmosphere where you can ask questions and feel comfortable enough just to be yourself. The worst is that there is not much activities to partake in that is for everyone and that some facilities could do with improving like the library
I love how everything is set out, clearly marking which building is which. I also love how up to date the facilities are, allowing real world experiences to take place.
The staff are supportive good facilities. Very nice building feels nice .
Some my classmates think that the university location in the countryside is not ideal because they want Hustle and Bustle of a big city like Manchester but for me this is quite and peaceful. The staff are very supportive and overall it has been an excellent experience.
The best aspects are the facilities I am able to use at Huddersfield university as being able to access and use a strong PC whenever I need is very important for my course and very helpful as I am able to access a PC whenever, wherever. The worst parts would be timetable I have due to having large gaps during lessons however this can also be helpful allowing me to develop my games further and stay focused at university.
It’s such a great university, that has lecturers who care for their students and want us all to achieve our goals and become the best versions of ourselves.
Best- student union being very involved and doing activities Worst- prices, waiting times, support Feel like it’s all just a business instead of having students at the heart of it all
I really enjoy the university culture, our lecturers help to infill a growth mindset and encourage us to think critically. I can already feel this changing my life.

In my opinion, one of the best things about the University of Huddersfield is that it has a range of support systems in place to aid students with things such as financial issues, mental health, disabilities, academic skills and many more. This means students are never alone in their struggles and will be supported and directed to useful areas in order to help them overcome their problems. There are also a vast range of courses and buildings on campus that support all aspects of these courses. For example, in the RS building, there is a studio for those on music centred courses. Also, in the BH building, there is a wood workshop for those on art and design courses. These examples provide clear evidence that the university strives to accommodate to all aspiring students.
Every thing is great

A well-respected, practical, and affordable university — ideal for students who want strong teaching and real-world experience.

i love the community - societies are great, i love how i’ve met so many people and get to do a course i love, the worst aspect is maybe how many days were in as it doesn’t see very worth it and facilities/resources for art students as we got £150 from an exhibition last year and they kept the money for “resources” however we’ve not seen any
not enough time in or resources
