Amazing

The support from personal tutors and the majority of teaching staff is excellent. However, consistency between lecturers when discussing assignments in terms of marking and feedback is not always good.

The process of moving into halls was so easy, 24/4 security was available so I always felt safe. Carpets and furniture outdated and price increase is astronomical.

The modules are intersting

It seems there is a difference in communication between staff regarding important aspects of the course which leads to more confusion among the students. I have emailed my tutor in the past, again about an important thing regarding assignments and had no response, although on occasions when I have emailed, I have found you don't get a clear answer, which again leads to more confusion. Some lecturers, though, are really helpful and will take the time to support you.

I live the smaller groups within a more comfortable setting

The best part of the course is the flexibility with the assignments, and the full coursesork assessment. The worst aspect to me, is completely relative and based off my own interest in specific course content. As the only part of the course I enjoyed less was a module I didn't find as exciting as the others.

Constance Stewart Hall is definitely worth the money. I made so many friends as a result of being here and yes, it is simple, but many people from Wickham ended up transferring over to Connie's eventually. Spending less on rent means you can have more fun and Connie's is so communal.

My supervision meetings are both supportive and challenging and my supervisors are helpful in supporting me to move forward in my thinking. My supervisors respond quickly to any questions I have. I have access to taught sessions with other doctoral students, while these are aimed at EdD students the staff involved are more than willing to discuss my particular needs as part of the sessions.
