I've met like minded friends and I've learned more than I did from High School.
Great
not happy at all, looking to change to a better university , where the staff actually care about my education, rather than just their wages and their appearance
Poor. I found that if you were not a preferred student the levels of support and access to facilities were very limited. When issues were raised with the department , evidence submitted by the student was always overridden by the word of the staff - usually without back up evidence. The results did not appear consistent with the quality of the work. Talented and original work appeared to suffer,
such good atmosphere friendly staff helpful and my course is brilliant i can choose when i go into uni for fine art and there is no pressure or half as much stress as other people i know at university.
Although I achieved a 2:1 this was despite rather than because of the tutoring and facilities available. Don't expect a great deal if you dare to express opinions about the course structure, facilities organisation etc or if you or your work does not appeal. I found the course to be chaotic and lacking in contact. I felt that I may as well have been working on my own. This place is trying to be a university - but does not have the calibre of students, staff or facilities to even come close to the standards that I would associate with such an institution,
Kingston Uni was a great place to study. The lecturers mostly supported your development, (You always get the odd awful lecturer) and were always there to give encouragement and guidance. The uni was great for me, and I started working in my field in my second year, and have never stopped. In some ways I couldn't ask for more really. The down sides could be that there is a heavy drink and drug culture at Kingston, and it did ruin some students and cause some to drop out.
It is quite nice, people are friendly and student ambassadors are very helpful.
Kingston is an amazing university. Not only is the atmosphere great for learning and living, the facilities are second to none. As a student at the knight's park campus, i can honestly say i have never had any regrets about choosing Kingston.
overall, my uni is 'alright' it does what is necessary i guess that is the most important thing. education wise, it is good I have no complaints although it would be hard for me to rate their social facilities and student union as i dont go there often
People are friendly, facilities are excellent and the overall vibe is great. People from all walks of life study here which makes it a diverse university giving opportunities to everyone.
I absolutely love Kingston and there is no two ways about it! I fell in love with the area when I visited for the very first time and after meeting people at KU, I knew this was the right place for me to spend the most crucial 3 years of my life! There is so much to at Kingston that you are never bored and not just the University life is amazing but there is a lot of academic help at Kingston too! If I got a chance to do my masters and PhD here I would grab it with both hands!

I do no recommend this university if you want a great night life and social life. Some students come across as rather hostile and the groups are quite closed off, so unless you already know someone at the university expect a difficult social experience. It is very school like, not like a university at all, but if you enjoy that environment then Kingston is right up your street.
Boring. Kingston is a very boring area, unless you like cheesy nightclubs that plays chart music all night long.
not good.
