Living on campus is good, the rooms are modern, there are food shops and cafes. Nice walks around campus. There are lots of different study spaces Food outlets - there are lots of different places to eat during the weekdays but the food is always the same. During the evening and weekends most food outlets are closes so you can either eat pizza or chicken and chips. Busses very unreliable. It's difficult to plan to going into the city for a certain time or get a train when you don't know if the bus will get there in time or even turn up. They are also often full so don't stop at every stop for people to get on.

Covers lots of content, a wide range of content. 12 hours in person teaching, 20hours self study/assignment work around your sport. Lab session every 2 weeks, good facilities but not enough time to benifit from them properly. Lecturers often give you the next weeks content to study so when you in the next weeks lecture, it's just like a re-cap of what you've self studied. Sometimes this means it's pointless being in the lectures when you already learnt it the previous week. Tutor contact time is limited but you can book appointments to see your tutor if you need to.

Near the edge of campus, great for use of STV, lime tree cafe. The rooms are small but nice and modern. Good amount of pepper in each flat. The kitchen is big with 3 cupboards each, all labelled with your room numbers so there aren't arguments over who had what space. They're are 3 Fridge freezer and 2 sinks. Free washing machine for the flat. Shared lounge, great for pre's or film nights. Average cost for the campus accommodation. Reslife and security are always around to help, they arrive quickly if there is a problem.

There is a really nice community feel due to being a small campus university. It is surrounded by really nice location with the city and countryside with bigger cities like Bristol and Cardiff being easily accessible too. It is great for studying sport as there is a large emphasis on that overall at the Uni and plenty opportunities to immerse yourself in research, sport and clubs/societies. The campus has some nice areas such as the lake, chancellors building and STV and school of management facilities but some of the buildings such as Wessex house and Norwood are very outdated and not pleasant to look at.

The majority of teaching is done in person compared to other courses which is nice however there is overall less contact time than other courses. Personally I would prefer more seminars to be able to consolidate knowledge with the help of older students/lecturers. The lab sessions are usually enjoyable but sometimes feel rushed and I think we could do more, sometimes it feels like another lecture. The lectures are generally interesting and the lecturers are very knowledgeable in their areas however sometimes the content is rushed through and hard to keep up with/understand, the lecturers always leave time for questions but sometimes it can be difficult to have questions when so focused on keeping up with the lectures pace. They offer really good opportunities for placements and a lot of support in applying and finding them.

I liked Eastwood, it had a nice layout and felt like a community in itself. I liked the homely feeling as opposed to being in a flat. At first it felt like too many people for one house but actually got used to it quite quickly and for the most part we got on quite well. The cleaners came once a week which was enough to keep it fairly tidy (by uni standards). It was decent value for money when I was there however the price has incereased now
