1) I am in 4th year so it is very stressful right now with essays /dissertation etc. but the tutors and lecturers on my course provide the help that is needed to perform to the best of my abilities of have done the past 4 years. 2) The most important advice I would give is to not panic. No one wants to see you fail here , and the lecturers especially want you to do really well. Everyone here is in the same position and all aimint for the same thing so you are definetly not alone It is hard by it is worth it.

Fairly small campus so easy enough to navigate. Close bond between lecturers and students and lecturers encourage you to contact them regarding any issues you have regarding the class. Sometimes lectures are harsh with marking but will always give you a lot of feedback to help you improve. Lots of study spaces and massive library with computers and tables for studying. Great on campus coffee shop though card only so not great if you only have cash.

The course itself is really interesting. The first two years for criminology is the same and in third year is when you can specify what course you want to do (policing, sociology etc). Some classes, in my opinion seem irrelevant, like cybercrime, but others give a large insight into theories or relevant topics surrounding the aspect of criminology and policing. Some classes are harder than others, like research in action, as it requires you to understand how to use SPSS but the lecturer is really good at helping you if you are confused.
