Good facilities on a great campus. Nice feel to the campus, and a great location in Leicester. Administrative support (especially timetabling) can be extremely frustrating at times. For example, I did not get my postgraduate timetable until the day before I started classes, and I am scheduled to have a class every single weekday (hurting my ability to work alongside my studies). They were also extremely unhelpful when I wanted to switch courses, and despite me doing everything I needed to by certain deadlines, I left me without classes for 2 - 3 weeks.

Great range of content taught by lecturers who are obviously passionate. In my experience, academic staff are extremely supportive and genuinely care about students achieving the best results they can. They always clearly offer office hours, and information on Blackboard is in-depth and prompt. A lot of the other students in my cohort seem exceptionally unmotivated, unbothered, and uninterested in doing any sort of real learning. People constantly turn up to class without doing prep work, talk during lectures, and expect help from fellow students who are high-achieving.

I believe my course was oversubscribed, meaning the lecturers were pulled thin and were unable to give each student the time they are paying for.

The amount of students who fail because they don't do any work is astounding. The course itself isn't too difficult and is rather interesting, but about 60% of students simply don't show up, don't engage with lessons and show little to no understanding about the subject. The lecturers have started teaching towards only the students who do the course reading and the prep work which I highly appreciate, but there seems to be an issue with the vetting process for letting sub-par students in
