Course wise lecturers are really helpful and responsible although sometimes there were some misorganisation but advantages outweighed. University life is great and mostly because of student union with amazing sabbatical officers running the SU as there are always interesting events going on every week. I think there's difference between courses' building/facilities, it is very obvious that computer science and optometry buildings are really new and big while other courses are still having classes in the old buildings.

lecturers and tutors are really friendly and helpful at all times. Learning materials is somewhat not organised as it was not really put in place. A lot of opportunities for work placement throughout the course years except 1st year (end of covid pandemic) where half of the teaching were online and really unsure what's going on. Disadvantage to students who not work in pharmacy in the UK before and not sure how the healthcare system works and lecturer did not explain at the first place but this was all in first year, after that placement started and it went better along the course. subject facilities weren't as great as expected because it is UK so I expect it will be better.

it is one of the cheapest University Halls I can find compared to private accommodation out there. disadvantage is that you have to share toilets and kitchen with 11 other people. It mostly depends on your luck if you get hygienic flatmates and good personality flatmates to live with. Aberdare Hall has cleaner to clean the shared facilities every week and this is a good point living here. management is not that great for example if toilet's not working, it took them 2 weeks to solve the problem. safety is not the best but okay, because not a lot of lights lit at night surrounding the halls so it's quite scary to walk back home at night.
