Lincoln wasn't my first choice, i was so devastated when I found out i wont be going to my first option but like they say, everything happens for a reason, the past 2 years ive had at Lincoln have been so much better then i expected them to be, the staff has been very helpful with my private problems, ive received so much support from everyone, furthermore, the services are really good. The only thing i'd say is that getting in and out of Lincoln is quite stressful sometimes, so that's something travellers might want to take into consideration.

It's definitely a place to learn and make connections and you can be supported for every step you take no matter what you want to do with your life in uni and past it. It's not a beautiful place across campus but it's not bad at all, poorly lit at night though which can be a concern to some.

For most lectures, you can get the same value out of reading from the PowerPoint than you can actually attending. If you have a different lecturer for the lecture and seminar of the same module then seminars are pointless because they'll either just repeat the exact same thing said in the lecture or won't know what's been covered in that weeks lecture. However, there are many other events that allows students to kickstart and support their future careers. (It's week 8 and I still have yet to meet my tutor :))

For being one of the cheapest options of uni-owned student accommodation it's actually not bad. The only accommodation without a lift though which still upsets me. It's not very well-lit outside at night and there have been some criminal issues even within the first 2 weeks. Kitchen's massive by the way.
