The facilities and course are brilliant, the only downside would be the social aspect as there is no city within a walking distance. However, the university does a good job of ensuring there are always social events on campus.

The course covers a wide range of literature and the lectures are generally very informative. The contact hours are minimal but that is natural for an English literature course. Lecturers and seminar leaders are easy to contact and speak with if we have any queries.

Claycroft is fairly good value for money, as you share a private bathroom with one other person so it has a similar feel to rooms with an en suite but at a much cheaper price. It does feel relatively old but well managed.
