I generally really live it here! Despite only having been here a short while there is a real sense of community and it just feels so familiar so quickly. My course has been so varied and given me insight into lots of different aspects. Of course the sport is also amazing here and that definitely contributes to the overall atmosphere. I'm not really sure there is anything I would change!

The lectures are very engaging and informative. Lecturers are very approachable and understanding in how it is to arrive at uni and trying to navigate a new way of learning. Obviously with a course like English there is a lot of reading bit it is definitely still manageable and seems ro be geared toward ensuring we are not overwhelmed. I find the course hours as a great level of balance.

I find living in halls great and am very happy it's something I chose to do in my first year. Despite originally not wanting to join a catered hall it has definitely been the right decision as it gives you one less thing to worry about when settling in.It has been great socially as well as you meet so many people and that really gives a sense of community, especially with the hall events that are offered.
