Hallam is the most welcoming encouraging place for any student, there’s so much support and time for any help you might need from all the staff and student support systems at the uni and in the almost four years I’ve been here I can say I’ve only met lovely passionate people! Feel very lucky to be in as inspiring an environment as this university and all the opportunities that’ve come from that, which is why after graduation I want to stay in Sheffield where I’ve found this community and build a career here and that’s all thanks to the support from the university! Couldn’t be happier with my university experience at Hallam and I’d recommend it to anyone!

The most inspiring and supportive course! Feel so lucky to have the facilities we do and the support from the tutors is unreal, couldn’t be luckier to have the quality of teaching and support we do here. Feel way more prepared for graduation next year than I ever thought I would as they really set you up for realistic career success on this course and help guide you into the best possible path for your portfolio and goals! Wish I could stay forever, but I promise you really get so much more than you can imagine from this course and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff and community here, couldn’t recommend it enough!

For value for money, facilities and maintenance support I think they’re the best at Hallam! The location isn’t far from town at all especially Head Post Office for arts students, but can be a bit dodgy in the winter months so make sure not to walk alone at night if you can help it just in case, and also bring shoes with some grip for the icy bridges in winter. But other than that lovely accommodation, maintenance staff help fix things so quickly and efficiently, and the space you get in your room with an en-suite is rare in other accommodations especially for the price! We ended up staying 2 years as was so affordable and just what you need so definitely recommend!
