Timetable could be improved for at home students

The best part is the community and student support. DMU does its best to help any student who is struggling. Even though I have never needed help, I am constantly surrounded by resources advertizing help. The technology resources are also a 10/10. The worst part is the buildings. Many rooms don't have proper ventillation and when 100+ people are crammed in, it gets extremely uncomfortable. The courtyard pathways also have a really annoying design that makes it difficult walk in a straight line from one end of campus to the other. Some buildings (The Yard) are very difficult to find . There is 1 sign at the entrance of HUA, but then you have to spiral your way through on your own in order to find its hidden entrance. Please improve the signs for locating The Yard.

Best part is the content and availability and teaching method of tutors. Worst part is guest speakers who come in to showcase a complex prorgram and move way too quickly for us to understand.

Bede Hall is hands down the best bang for your buck as far as DMU-OWNED student accomodation, but I have to take points off for the excessive fire alarms. No fire alarm system i've ever seen before is this sensitive. I lost many hours of sleep because of the constant fire alarm evacuations. (3 times per week at least)
