I love how engaged and involved goldsmiths is. Studying here feels a lot more personal in my experience, you feel connected to the faculty and community.

My course is extremely interesting! We get to explore various aspects of design and are given a lot of creative liberty and freedom. The work hours are very long, we’re on campus 5 days a week, for 7 hours a day most of the time. There’s a lot of self guided work and studio time as this is a more practical course.

The area itself is nice. It’s really diverse and there’s a good student community around. However it’s really badly connected. It takes ages to go anywhere since there’s no tube and direct bus routes. Journeys that are a 15 minute drive away take nearly an hour and it becomes really expensive from having to travel through different zones and for longer periods of time. There’s also not much going on in terms of nightlife or work opportunities

It’s a really old building and the facilities are really dated. They are not reliable and we’ve had a lot of issues with heating, laundry and electricity. the rooms are pretty small and lots of people were missing things like wardrobes and storage spaces.

Community is great Student and mental health support is good Administration could be improved as it’s slow
