Goldsmiths is a very liberal university, the student vibe and the lecturers make this place a wonderful place to learn, socialise and interact with one another. There is a good balance of ethnic minority and international students alongside home students. The facilities are great, with a well stocked library. My personal favourite building is the Professor Stuart Hall Building, you have a nice view of the college green and the Richard Hoggard Building. Unfortunately due to the strikes (which is not limited to Goldsmiths University) the experience has been inadequate, but tutors will do their best to ensure we receive as much help as possible before and after strikes take place. It would have been nice to receive a fair refund to tuition fees due to strikes as payments were in their hundreds (£££) whereas other UOL institutions have offered their students thousands per student (££££).

With the education building, a well stocked education section in the library and a holistic approach from our tutors, the experience with the Education, Culture and Society BA has been exceptional so far. At times the odd tutor may read lectures out from the PowerPoint but with is balanced with their own professional advice, knowledge and practices which are shared with the class depending on the module and content. Tutor time is available on a termly basis and although some tutors do reach out to students it is also down to the student to be proactive and take up the appointments. Some people in my cohort have barely had any contact with their tutors but do not reach out to them which makes things difficult.

All students on my couse are kind and nice . Goldsmiths is open mind, however It's been hard for me to adjust because most people are posh.

I think education department is not good. Also I don't like that this uni is far away from central, but I like big garden and library with good media system

I love my tutor on my course because she understands me studying as a foreigner she understands hardships of studying in second language.

I hope that there would be more student socieites here

There are lots of museums, galleries, churches and palace so I can study history in London

I enjoy the Korean socieyt and lots of diverse friends as well is London is diverse.

University's oen accommodation is dirty and other accommodation options are too expensive
