My stay in founders was abysmal to be honest. I had people constantly stealing what little food I could afford, constant fire alarms, and the bathrooms were disgusting most of the time. When I mentioned this to on campus staff I was told that there wasn’t really anything they could do and I ended up having to move into a different hall.

Despite its flaws, Royal Holloway is a good university and I am pleased with my experience here. The lecturers are very helpful. The accommodation is very expensive, especially in comparison to other unis. We are not that close to the city- do not be fooled! The SU needs improving, as do some of the classrooms and dining halls.
