Really great infrastructure, the teaching faculties are also great. Prices of food in the Food Village in campus is a bit high.

Course hours are great, the module is short and crisp. Worst aspects is that the time to communicate with the tutors is less.

Best Aspects: De Montfort University is a very good place to study because of its learning environment and sense of community. The Artificial Intelligence course at De Montfort University has a very good combination of theory and practice sessions, which enable the students to apply what they have studied in class to practical situations. The lecturers are very approachable and knowledgeable and help out the students when they need assistance. The environment in the university, including its labs and libraries, is very clean and provides a very productive environment to study in. The different people from different backgrounds of the university make it a very welcoming place to study. Areas for Improvement: Although overall it has been an extremely positive experience, there could be a few small areas of improvement, particularly in terms of consistency across modules, particularly with regards to assessment feedback and advice. There could also be more interaction between industry and academia, perhaps through industry speakers and/or industry-related projects.

My experiences at De Montfort University have been thoroughly positive. The environment is welcoming and motivational, pushing students towards achievement. The Artificial Intelligence course is very well structured, integrating theoretical and actual applications for effective skills acquisition. The teaching staff are very amiable and accessible, and the facilities for learning, including computer labs, the library, and other infrastructure, are of the very best standards. Leicester is an easily accessible campus, with easy links to transport, accommodation, and other facilities of the city. A few minor changes could improve it even further, like providing better guidance for certain exams and providing opportunities for engagement with industry. It’s already a very good learning experience, and even small improvements could take it to an even better place.

Best aspects: De Montfort University is a great place to study due to its supportive learning environment and strong sense of community. The Artificial Intelligence course offers a good balance between theory and practical work, allowing students to apply what they learn to real-world problems. Lecturers are generally approachable, knowledgeable, and willing to support students when needed. The campus facilities, including modern labs, libraries, and study spaces, are well maintained and create a productive atmosphere for learning. The diverse student population also makes the university welcoming and inclusive, encouraging collaboration and the sharing of ideas. Areas for improvement: While the overall experience is very positive, small improvements could be made in ensuring greater consistency across modules, particularly in assessment guidance and feedback. More opportunities for industry interaction, such as guest talks or practical projects, would further enhance an already strong academic experience.
