Overall I would rate my experience here 4 starts

Some lecturers are better than others! We have missed quite a lot of learning due to illness and strikes which is unfortunate. Can't quite believe lectures finish for the year in the next few weeks. It would be good if we could use the time after Easter to pick up some of the skills days that were missed due to illness so that we don't have to make them up in years 2 & 3. Communication about starting could have been better. Had expected to start first week of October, then week before received info that we needed to be in the week before for the induction. Would also have been nice to receive a suggested reading list prior to the summer. Great laid back atmosphere around campus and most people are friendly. Not experiences the social side of uni (I am far too old and boring for that!) but the younger students sound as though they are enjoying themselves!

Most of the lectures have been in person, which is great. Lecturers work hard to make the lessons engaging most of the time. Law lecturer is amazing and has certainly gained respect of the class. She asked for lesson feedback at Christmas and listened to this and took it on board. As mentioned previously there has be some disruption due to staff illness and strikes and mid year changes to staff, so there has been quite a bit of missed learning unfortunately. Senior staff have been reassuring though that we will be able to catch up.
