My overall University student experience so far has been pleasant, it honestly depends how much you put it, to how much you get out. You can reach a lot of hurdles and you can often feel discouraged to continue, but you must try to push through it, because you truly reap the benefits. You meet a great load of people from really diverse backgrounds with really different characters, its really nice to have a fresh new environment from High School.

Facilities are great. Some have been abused by students and thus have become damaged, but past that, the facilities as brilliant.

Support from Tutors is stellar. If you seek, they shall provide, they really are great. Support staff are useful, and can provide adequate support for students in need. The counselling is pretty great, I received some myself and it helped a fair bit, though I think the follow up from these should be more thorough and should do check-ups afterwards.

I think the Student Union tries really hard, and they perform pretty well for the small University that we are. They're all very inclusive and happy to help out wherever they can.

City life is great, though night city life can be pretty rowdy and if you go down the wrong alleyway bad things can happen.

There are very few societies that aren't entirely or partially music based. This is not the best as you can really feel bogged down by music in the college as is. However, a few people have had the initiative to create a 'Gaming Society' thats inclusive to anyone of any skill level, and has nothing to do with Music whatsoever.

Offering occasional gigs to students, though not all students have access to this and sometimes works on a 'favouritism' basis.

Its not too bad, Internet access is pretty dire, but all other facilities are easy to access and is all very secure.

I just love being at lcom the. It's is vibrant and the classes are great, super informative and compelling. They focus on getting you out into work and networking and widening your horizons. It just has a great atmosphere.
