i’ll start with what could be improved, my only complaint is with regards to location, because it’s not in the prime of lincoln like the university of lincoln, it’s not very modern with regards to what it offers for students who are on campus on all day, such as food and drink. It is the only downside as the cafes on site are quite pricey. Everything else is perfect. The best part of the uni is how supportive it is. I’ve been extremely lucky and have an amazing tutor as well as teachers. My class is small so everyone is close and we are all comfortable with eachother, hence why we love it. My appreciation is mainly for the supportive staff though, there’s always someone who can help.

there could be slightly more in class discussions but i understand our class would discuss for hours if we could. The sessions are all in person taught through powerpoint on Blackboard. It’s interactive with activities spread out throughout the lessons so it’s not constant writing notes. We have tutor meetings like once a month, discussing the assignments due, we get help and support and it’s very useful. my favourite part of the course is placement, i’m lucky again to have been placed in amazing settings and i’ll be sad to finish them.

the actual rooms were fine. Typical room with ensuite however the only thing that wasn’t great was the condition of the bathrooms, one thing was always broken. It was always boiling hot in the rooms too. The communal area was the worst for the heat as we were top floor and the heat just rose, was honestly horrendous some days. If we needed support or building support then security were always available and the night medic was always a phone call away.

Good student support in lessons

Lecturers very interactive

Good rooms
