Close community is good for making friends

Good subject matter that interests me

This university has a family atmosphere to it as it is such a small campus, this also gives a more personal relationship with lecturers as lectures are quite small. The lecturers themselves are amazing, they are helpful, give you their time and their advice is immaculate. They make you feel like you are doing well and they’re extremely supportive. The on campus living is also very good, it makes walking to lectures easier as they are very close. Space given for studies is also more than enough. Overall, Bishop Grosseteste University is a lovely place to study and I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

I currently do 8 hours a week of lectures/seminars. This is not too long but also not too short. We learn plenty of content in this time and the seminar activities are perfect for remembering the information that has just been taught. All lectures and seminars are in person which makes it more of a personal feel. We have contact time with lecturers whenever we need but once a month we also have tutorials where we can discuss whatever we feel the need to

The halls are spacious and they are great for a first time student. Issues within the flat are sorted ASAP when reported although sometimes there are often issues which take a while to sort as they don’t have the right people on site etc. There are plenty of health and safety checks done to ensure the flat is still in good condition and is still safe.
