The best aspect is the smaller size of the organisation. As a student, UA92 naturally allows you to stand out a lot more then an traditional university. And when the whole game of Uni is to build the best CV whilst studying it certainty felt like a leg up in that competition comparted to others. The advantage of the size also naturally flows into other aspects of uni, such as student support. You will come to know the majority of staff really well and that helps with the overall support you receive. Overall, the more relaxed , no exams and amazing staff really creates an environment for a student to thrive.

No exams is a massive win in itself. I'm not saying that from an effort perceptive but an academic one. I've always done well with courses but I've always failed with exams. So therefore taking that of out of the equation has allowed me to focus on my ability rather then worry about performing in a few hour-long exams.
The placements and internships are massively beneficial. Most lecturers have vast connections in their given industry and allows students to experience life in professional sport. Now the University has and continues to build meaningful partnerships with clubs such as Manchester Utd & Lancashire Cricket. For example, for the last few cricket seasons Lancashire cricket has hired around 4/5 paid interns from the uni. Having a paid opportunity, to work 9-5 in professional sport prior to graduating gives you an amazing advantage on the CV but also to get a feel to where you might like to work in the future.

The best part of my university experience has been the intellectual growth and the diverse range of courses available. Engaging with passionate lecturers and like-minded peers has broadened my perspective. I’ve also had endless opportunities from working for the sport community and representing the university at career fairs, open days and student panels. I have been able to gain experiences at clubs, making content for the university with the marketing team and also working with staff in different events & conferences. I have met a lot of people who I wouldn’t have been able to if it weren’t for UA92 and also connected with so many amazing people through guest talks, in-person and also over social platforms like LinkedIn. However, the workload and pressure to excel can be overwhelming. The supportive community and resources contribute to its greatness, but improvement lies in refining assessment structures for a more balanced student experience.

The best aspect of my course is the in-depth knowledge gained through challenging yet insightful lectures. However, the heavy workload and can be overwhelming.
In addition to the rich content delivered in lectures, there can be scarcity of practical application opportunities. The theoretical depth is commendable, but real-world scenarios and hands-on experiences are often lacking. More case studies, or advancement of our industry collaborations could bridge this gap.
The course hours, while essential for covering the curriculum, sometimes feel stretched. Condensing the material into more focused sessions or integrating more interactive elements could maintain engagement and make the learning process more dynamic.
Contact with lecturers is very consistent; majority are readily available for questions and discussions, fostering a supportive learning environment.
