I have attended the college for over 3 years and I will be extremely emotional on leaving in May (providing I pass!). It’s been a huge learning curve and I’ve met life long friends and I have developed as a person. I have the college to thank for this, they have supported me throughout my journey and I will never forget my time here. Thank you newcastle college!

Excellent. There is a separate floor dedicated to higher education students, including over 50 computer stations, this is an essential area where students can complete both individual assignments and group presentations.

As previously stated, the support on offer from the college is fantastic both academically and personally. The students have opportunity to book weekly 1-1 tutorials on any issues whether it be work related or personal. Progress will be monitored and further help can be offered such as counselling, therapy courses and all is handled with confidentiality.

Classrooms are small, with no more than 30 pupils within each teaching session. This allows a healthy relationship to be made between the pupils and the tutor. The college makes me feel like they will be able to help no matter what the situation, it really possesss a personal touch which is rare in my experience.

We must secure placement whilst studying. The college will come out to visit us whilst at the schools to monitor our progress. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within an educational setting and many of us will even gain immediate employment this way.
