Get so much extra help compared to most unis, tutors are so useful and reply so quick. Also got extra materials bought for us which was a massive help!
Enjoyable course and lovely tutors, get to be in person as much as possible
Great place for students, good nights out
Horrendous. Don't go there. (Civil engineering and rail academy). Wouldn't go back for anything. Seriously needs a reform and restaffing for competent lecturers.
Fine but freezing
Some tutors are rude when someone doesn't understand the content, saying the rest of the students understand therefore if you don't understand you haven't been listening/trying. Feedback takes months to receive on work that must be handed in within a fortnight.
I just wish we could get a lecturer who knew what they were talking about and/or didn't berate people for not understanding something. I would never recommend this college (I haven't been to the university, this is not reflection on them). In fact I have specifically told everyone who I thought might possibly consider it to steer well clear. Horrendous

Overall yes there’s the down side to funding for the university students but it’s has best support system, great teachers and good support system. Would like to see more funding for the university students with employment.
Need improving. The building we are in is old and the facilities for printing work is terrible. Have to use admin office just to print work off which takes over 20mins to get to the printer. We have to mix with the normal college students which are u educated idiots wrecking the place.
The support is amazing they have helped me personally very good can’t thank the pupil support team. The teachers are amazing support giving any time needed to talk or have extra help.
The things I like about the course is the teachers experience and knowledge on the course. The way teachers teach is fantastic.

College does not seem to motivate students to push for employability.
Terrible institution, different lecturers for the same subject that repeat themselves. No help from management to assist this and no extensions due to missed time. Never been somewhere so terrible
Worst facility I’ve ever been to, not worth the money I pay
No support at all
Nothing is taught correctly

No help
Bit of a rollercoaster, as any university experience is but definitely worth it. Can not stress enough how this experience has challenged me to become the best version of myself.
Within the dance department there are 3 professional dance-specific studios. However, there is 9 studios in the Performing Arts building that students can practice in. One studio theatre for intimate sharings and one large stage which is used for termly performances- all fully equipped with lighting and sound equipment.
Very good. I speak with experience from multiple support strategies. Pastoral tutorials are completed termly, this manages learning and any issues a student might have. Counselling service is available to all students Academic support is available to all students, delivered by 9 experience academic mentors, to help students achieve the grades they're fully capable of .
Lectures are delivered more interactively than traditional university format. This allows the students to submerge themselves into the learning environment .

Undeniably prepares aspiring dance artists academically, creatively and practically for the dance industry. The modules allow students to develop and explore new areas of dance, previously under taught at FE. The tutors are supportive and motivating, keeping the students best interests at heart. Overall a challenging experience, but well worth it.
Overall I have enjoyed the opportunities this course has allowed me to do including ambassador and our educational trip to Berlin. I enjoy the social side of this course as everybody is different which has allowed me to gain new communication skills.
I enjoy the facilities around me in college especially the 10th floor in Parsons as I appreciate the free printing which I benefit from as I take full advantage of this.
I appreciate this as it is always done in the best way, feedback and grades are always on time.
The teaching on our course is very beneficial as I enjoy having discussions on certain topics and always get the help I need with my work which I find really helps my overall grade.

During Level 4, we had the opportunity to be become ambassadors for Newcastle Airport. I gained employment through this and currently work as a Passenger Services Assistant in the airport. This has helped me to gain the skills I need in order to work within this industry. Being an ambassador allowed us to experience real life situations, and how to cope with these problems to further help us develop new skills required for our future jobs in this industry.
My college experience so far has been really enjoyable and fun. i have met lots of new people and made friends for life. The opportunities offered to us are very extensive which we all love. Recently I have returned from a trip to Berlin which was very sociable and we got to meet other people from higher and lower levels.
The facilities at college are fairly good. We have our own classroom as well as computer room that is really beneficial as it is for us only. We are also given HE only space which makes us different from others on campus as well as free printing in a computer room elsewhere on campus just for HE. There is cafes in each building as well as vending machines everywhere.
The support offered is good, support from tutors is always there and available if we need it as well as plenty personal support that is always reminded to us
I like how prepped my teaching is and how much thought goes into the process of each lesson

During the first year of my degree i was given the opportunity to complete an ambassadors program at Newcastle airport on behalf of the college this was an opportunity to gain the necessary skills for employment in aviation. As well as this, we were given the chance to undertake tasks throughout the airport, analyzing the positives and negatives of various identified problems, we also had to devise various solutions that we were given the chance to voice via a power point presentation to various managers in the airport this was a chance to meet new people and get known. When looking at transferable skills, during level 5 we have to complete a portfolio which reflects our desired job role.
Very positive. Facilities available are suitable for the purpose of our course. Teaching is fantastic as is course content. The opportunities that have arisen during my time here have provided me with a fantastic insight into the aviation industry
Facilities are very good. HE only areas allow for quiet study and reflection. Computer facilities are very good as are dining facilities
Tutors are outstanding and are happy to provide any assistance you may need both during college and outside college hours. No counselling has been needed during this degree
Teaching is at a very high standard and is engaging and informative. Level of teaching challenges you to form your own ideas and opinions and carry out your own research to complement this. I have no negative views on the teaching

Professional Development module allows us to pick a career path and investigate the required skills and attributes needed.
Really enjoying it. I am glad I chose to study here. The course has given me confidence and the skills needed to become a teacher. The tutors have helped me develop over the programme.
We have everything we need. Campus is large and so had a variety of study areas.
Tutors are great and on hand to answer any questions. Feedback is always really useful and it has helped me improve.
The tutors keep the sessions interesting. We study on a Monday evening and it's difficult to keep motivated but the lessons are always interesting and packed with a variety of activities.

Our course involves a placement which runs linear to the programme. This gives us a fantastic insight into the real world of teaching and helps us to get involved in all parts of the work place, not just teaching.
Brilliant! Met amazing people and learnt so much! The teaching is to an amazing standart and the support is second to none. I would highly reccommend anybody to go to newcaslte college is persuing a degree!
Brilliant although sometimes not used enough!
Couldnt get better staff!
