Theology and Religious Studies - BA (Hons)

University of Chester

The course is absolutely fantastic! Every single lecture and seminar has me on the edge of my seat with interest just wanting to acquire more and more knowledge. The lecturers have done a wonderful job making the course engaging, informative and challenging. It's great balance between a professional and personal environment, where you feel heard and important. Chester is a dense, detailed and historical city in which I have fallen in love with after the past few months of living here. I'm convinced that I love it more and more every time I go for a walk around it. With brilliant courses, beautiful location and friendly warm environment, I cannot recommend studying at The University of Chester enough.

The best part about university is lectures, it’s really fun and interesting The worst part about being in university it is very lonely sometimes

Best: like the location, my lecturers and fellow peers of lucky. I feel very supported academically Worst : not feeling as though my voice was heard when I had accommodation issues in first year.

Great department and friendly staff. Could do better at getting student voices heard and prioritising student experience.

Can't really be changed but being next to a busy road is not great. I like my accommodation being so close to campus and town.

I don't actually participate much in traditional student life, or the students' union, but judging by the emails they send out they're busy and cheerful which is a good sign. The facilities I use most are the theology department and the Seaborne Library, which are always approachable and welcoming. If I've needed help with online or practical matters I know where to find it.
