the institution does a very good job at giving their students a place to feel comfortable to study and feel heard. the only complaint i have is that access for help they give. it’s a lot more difficult then they make it seem.

The campus is very beautiful! There are so many different options for food nearby, which is handy. The lecturers in the Theatre Studies department are so so friendly and helpful; they really care about their students. Something that could be improved with the university is the availability of study spaces. They are always so busy. It is quite hard to find a space to sit in buildings like the library and JMS at peak times, especially during assignment season. This can be frustrating.

Divest, pay your staff more, support the ucu strikes, do more to prevent racism and gbv, do something about the terrible support for student mental health

My overall university experience has been really positive and probably life-changing. I have had so many opportunities through studying at Glasgow University, as well as met incredibly people and learned so much. I have fallen in love with Scotland and Glasgow in particular, which I would have never gotten to know as I have now had I not started studying here. My courses have been very inspirational and really influential in where I want to go in life - through the university I have been able to have work placement or internships at amazing organisations, the experience of working there will hopefully be very beneficial for my future career. Furthermore, through my involvement in clubs & societies at university I have gained so many skills in organisation, activism, journalism and met great friends.

I have recieved great support and really enjoyed my learning. Only wish there was more study / rehearsal space at the University. Overall would definitely recommend Glasgow University to anyone.
