University of Salford

Wide range of facilities available on campus Campus is easily accessible which is a huge advantage for commuting students Wide and Excellent range of support given to Students

The vibe and everything is perfect and just so comforting at the university and with improvements, I don't have any on my mind.

The university facilities are great, especially the libraries and study spaces, and the campus has a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Salford’s close proximity to Manchester also makes it easy to enjoy student life and find work or volunteering opportunities related to the course. If I had to mention an area for improvement, I’d say more guest lectures or placement opportunities would make the course even stronger.

Best aspect of Salford is the campus, there are loads of events and the campus park is quite beautiful and there are other campus’s that also breathe the same aesthetic like Media City in Salford Quays. The worst aspect of Salford is the security however, they have improved upon it by adding an app that allows you to call campus security for medical, accidental and disruptive emergencies. One thing they could further improve is by giving better support for Societies and their room inquiries as there are points were it seemed disorganised causing confusion amongst those who want to be a part of the societies. An app for directing students to rooms will be splendid.

I am a PhD student studying psychology and law and the department and support for FASD is fantastic. I have all the support I need from an academic point of view it feels like I am in a family. The doctoral hub has been supportive and is listening to ways it can be improved.
