This programme combines the chance to perfect your skills in the sixth most widely spoken language in the world and to acquire a detailed understanding of advanced human knowledge. The programme is designed to provide you with a deep engagement with the cultures where Portuguese is spoken (in Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde and São Tome e Prncipe), exploration and analysis of how philosophers past and present have understood the world, and an opportunity to learn the arts of argument, critical enquiry, reasoning, and clarity of expression.
