You can apply to study for either a BSc or an MPhys. The latter is a direct route to a masters qualification, known as an integrated masters. On an MPhys, you’ll spend a year doing integrated research before returning for your final masters-level modules.Professional recognitionMPhys - Institute of Physics (IOP) Accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP) for the purpose of fully meeting the educational requirement for Chartered Physicist.Foundation yearIf you don’t meet our entry requirements, you might still be able to apply for this degree with an Engineering and Physical Sciences Foundation Year. This is an extra year of study to develop your skills and make it easier for you to get started at university. On successful completion of your foundation year, you’ll be ready to progress to the first year of your degree.
