This course provides the opportunity for qualified Operation Department Practitioners (ODP) to undertake a top-up degree through distance learning. It allows you to use your professional qualification and registration to APEL the first year of a degree programme. Developed as a result of talking to theatre managers, this course aims to meet the real-world career development needs of practitioners.- As this course is distance learning you are not required to attend the University and can study at a time that meets your own personal and professional commitments.- You will be taught by leading academics and receive support of fellow students. A community of student learners from around the UK and oversees provides opportunities for collaborative learning and experiences.- The modules on this course provide you with an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills in order to enhance your understanding of operating department practice and be able to link this to evidence-based practice.
