I have loved making friends and being able to see them both in uni and outside. The library is such a good space to work, I like to work in different places and levels depending on what I’m doing. It could be improved with the wifi as sometimes I’m kicked off. In the library the toilets could be cleaned more. Water fountains on each level of the library to work.

Best aspects: From personal experience, the University of Southampton has been a great place to access support - university services have made it very easy and accessible to reach out as well as start different therapies. Lecturers and other leads have been very accepting and accommodating of an individual's differences and needs. The university has readily raised awareness of social interaction and events as well as societies that aid in building a well-rounded student experience Worst aspects: There are times when lectures do not feel very conclusive or detailed enough. I can appreciate there are limits to teaching and a need to carry out own research and build critical thinking and reading skills; however, considering the time and money that goes into being a university student would allow one to expect some sense of in-depth detail.

It's been great. Lots of hands on practical experience which is a really good aspect of the course. Although the accommodation is expensive it is worth it, and there is 24 hr help and security. They offer support for prettgy much anything.

Overall I have really enjoyed my time at the University of Southampton studying MN Adult and Child Nursing. Their response to covid has been good to keep us regularly up-to-date based on government guidelines and to try and get us back into in person skills sessions so we are better equipped before starting our placements.
