Work-based placements will make up half of your time on this course, and you will have the chance to work with people of varied ages and backgrounds in urban, rural and coastal communities across the region. Our wide range of community placements include GP practices, residential care homes and hospitals.In your university-based learning, small class sizes mean you will benefit from individual support from our highly experienced team. You will also benefit from learning alongside students from related subjects such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Biomedical Science, offering opportunities to expand your understanding further.We will support you to:make a positive contribution towards the health and wellbeing of people across their lifespanBecome self aware and reflective in your practiceDevelop coaching and leadership skills alongside your technical and clinical skillsActively engage in research throughout your degree, understanding the importance of evidence-based nursingLearn practical self care techniques which allow you to flourish in the face of challenges
