Students are taught to independently access information to critically assess, evaluate and disseminate the evidence based research. The MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine course, run with the collaborative partner Diploma MSc, is delivered by an innovative and experienced team who has an established international reputation in sports and exercise medicine.AssessmentStudents are expected in the first 8 weeks to interact with their tutor on a weekly basis. Students select a specific project and submit a project summary/proposal (approximately 1,500 words).Once the proposal has been approved, the professional project (10,500 words) itself is then completed through online guidance and supervision offered by the tutor.CareersThis qualification has been introduced with the purpose of promoting and enhancing professional skills and knowledge among its students which have direct relevance and application to the demands of their working roles. There is increasing competition for employment in the healthcare arena and a need for higher qualifications to assist with career development and support specialisation. It is envisaged that most students will be in primary care or aspiring to such posts.
