Treforest is a very nice campus as it is close to Cardiff but very quit on the weekends when I am at the library. As the name suggests it is surrounded by a forest which is nice to go for walks and enjoy nature. The students union offers a variety of activities that are very enjoyable. Treforest is only a 30min train ride from Cardiff which makes it perfect to go shopping or for food. The campus itself has a good location and a nice view onto the valleys. The library has a lot of group study spaces which makes it easy to study with friends. This Uni is very engaged for its international students and helps them whenever help is needed. Overall a really good student experience.

SECOND YEAR

Biology (Including Foundation Year) BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

Easy access to help if it’s needed wether that be mental health or course related. More course related but I have struggled to get some of my essays in on time as they all pile up however our modules have been split in half now which means we have less to focus on at one point.
