A fast-track course allowing graduates from a non-construction related degree or existing quantity surveyors to become chartered surveyors, with additional work experience. Develop the knowledge and skills to measure, cost, plan, procure, develop and manage construction projects. Strengthen your knowledge of theory, contracts and practice through study of case studies and simulations. Undertake a work placement to further hone your skills. Develop the skills required to be a quantity surveyor for private or public clients or construction organisations. The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and we aim to produce graduates who meet the academic, professional and ethical standards required by the professional bodies. As part of the Work Experience route offer, you are able to undertake a 12 month industry placement in your second year. Duration- 2 year with placement year
