Learn to establish and maintain effective health and safety practices. You’ll keep up to date with the latest issues, risks and practices in the field on this accredited course.
As part of this course, you’ll:
Understand health and safety as an integral part of any organisation
Learn how to establish and maintain a safe working environment for everyone
Develop your knowledge of how different organisations use varying levels of safety procedures and understand how to assess their impact on a company
Investigate organisations in their entirety and gain a broad knowledge of other departments such as marketing, sales and human resources
Explore how departments across a business are affected by health and safety procedures and processes
Enhance your understanding of the technical and human aspects of health and safety and the causes of problems, whether machine malfunctions or human misjudgements
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. Your first degree must also have had a research training component. Applicants applying based on experience should provide evidence of evaluation and implementation of policy and guidance within health and safety to meet this requirement.
