My experience at Newcastle University has been extremely positive, especially studying MSc Sustainability Management at Newcastle University Business School. The course content is engaging and relevant, and the teaching staff are supportive and knowledgeable. The facilities are excellent, and I have always felt well supported by student services. I also love the location—being close to the city makes it easy to access everything Newcastle has to offer. The Students’ Union is fantastic too, with lots of societies and events that make student life enjoyable and social. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be the amount of space in the NUBS building. During busy times, study and collaboration areas can become quite crowded. Adding more dedicated study spaces or breakout areas would really enhance the student experience, especially for postgraduate students who need quiet areas for group work and independent study. Overall, Newcastle University is a great place to study—friendly, well-resourced, and full of opportunities. With a bit more space in the Business School, it would be even better.

I really enjoy attending uni here, but think there could be more accessible study spaces with computers, as I often find a free computer hard to find

Newcastle is an ideal place to study. There are plenty of things to do in the city, no matter what your interests are, you are still close to the beach and Northumberland national park is easily accessible. My student experience could be improved by lowering the prices of the student societies, clubs and gym. I think it its unfair that as students who pay for university, we are expected to pay extra for these benefits, when they are branded as being part of the university experience and one of the main reasons why students are attracted to university life.
