Equipping students with theoretical knowledge and advanced computational skills, we will enable the exploration of Sustainable Energy applications for a sustainable future. Students engage in live industry and research projects, fostering connections with aligned industries.

How you learn

Youll benefit from our course teams wealth of experience in Energy and Sustainable Engineering – studying a combination of technical modules and advanced aspects of Energy and Sustainable Engineering.

Youll apply your knowledge and skills to real-world contexts – actively engaging in live projects, field trips, networking events and competitions. These experiences will enhance your employability, deepen your understanding of the Energy and Sustainable Engineering, and prepare you to thrive in a dynamic and competitive professional landscape.

You will have opportunities to apply your skills and knowledge through real-world project-based learning with a short placement option. By learning through practical experience, you will develop a deep understanding of the field. Lectures, seminars, tutorials, laboratories, and online learning will present complex engineering and management concepts for you to critically evaluate and take ownership of your learning. Systems engineering modules and research projects will further facilitate this intellectual challenge. Throughout your studies, we will nurture your critical thinking and design skills, promote lifelong learning, and foster creativity and ethical practices. Our course is designed to empower you personally, culturally, and professionally.

Academic Qualifications: An honours degree in a science or engineering subject, usually at least second-class, or Suitable professional qualifications in a field appropriate to engineering, or A degree in any discipline containing aspects relevant to engineering plus at least one year of industrial experience, or A diploma in a technological area, with at least three years of relevant experience.
