This course will provide you with the specialist skill set you need to thrive in the fast-growing sector of computer science and analytics. You’ll have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of theoretical foundations and practical applications of computer science. These include cloud-based information security, programming principles, software development methodologies, human and computer interaction (HCI), AI and (ML). You’ll benefit from learning from leading academics and industry professionals. You’ll also have access to the latest tools, techniques and design patterns to gain the competitive advantage you need to secure a successful career in a wide range of sectors. These include in engineering, the pharmaceutical industry, finance, healthcare, retail and security.
UK Honours Degree or equivalent in any subject not closely related to Computer Science, normally at grade of 2.2 or above. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate competence in mathematics, with at least a B grade in GCSE Mathematics or equivalent; or 20 credit or equivalent module in Maths, Statistics or a similar subject from Bachelor Degree.
