Course Overview

Develop an in-demand advanced skillset Gain the skills to shape and maintain the world around us. Creative engineering solutions are in high demand to meet the growing need for infrastructure to sustain modern societies and underpin economic and social development. Requirements for accreditation This course is designed to satisfy the requirements for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer . As such, it will help you develop your career as a leader in design, construction and management operations within civil engineering.

As part of this course, you’ll:

Develop your technical ability, understanding of engineering principles, commercial flair and environmental awareness

Study an advanced course that will equip you with the technical and practical skills to contribute effectively in a wide range of industry settings

Be taught by staff with professional experience in a broad range of subjects including transportation, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and water engineering

Investigate contemporary research and engineering solutions designed to meet global challenges, such as the climate change emergency

Complete advanced laboratory studies and use industry standard IT design software
