The course is through and in-depth whilst still allowing for individual study into your area of interest. The staff an community in Aberystwyth has made me want to stay on to do PHD study

The best parts is the location, the ability to walk wherever and find a pretty view, the worst part is probably all the hills (reasonably)

I love this uni, it’s super supportive and I feel very accepted and welcomed by everyone. I love the location, it’s perfect for my subject of choice.

I liked the smaller size of my uni; it allowed for a much calmer uni experience. It was a little inconvenient to travel to and from Aber as an international student. The uni really needs to work on event planning and communication; for example, it was quite difficult to plan my graduation as much of the information from summer accommodation to ordering my robes was announced last minute. As an international student, travel has to be planned months in advance and it is crucial to know dates as soon as possible. My degree program was enjoyable, and the location of Aber uni allowed for lots of hands on fieldwork. However, my degree could be more specialised for marine biology as it was more of a conservation and ecology focus.

Good uni for biology and related sciences, good people and good lecturers. Worst part is the hill but you get big legs by the end of it.
