Our Animal Welfare MRes explores the welfare of laboratory, farm, companion and wild animals. Our Animal Welfare MRes uses a multi-disciplinary approach that includes:animal behaviourcognitionphysiologyneuroscienceinformaticssocial scienceslaw and ethicsIt is available to graduates with a BSc in the life sciences or related disciplines. It is also suited to intercalating and qualified MBBS, BDS and veterinary students. You'll study a compulsory module in animal welfare. You can also choose from our broad range of further taught modules to develop your bespoke course. You'll then engage in a 24-week research project in Animal Welfare Research.
A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in: a life science or a related discipline or an MBBS/BDS degree
