This course is suitable for registered midwives who have successfully completed the PgDip midwifery course at level 7. This course is available to all practising midwives holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery. It enables you to build on your level 7 studies to gain an MSc in Midwifery Studies by undertaking a research project module. This course is suitable for registered midwives who have successfully completed the PgDip midwifery course at level 7. This course is available to all practising midwives holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery. It enables you to build on your level 7 studies to gain an MSc in Midwifery Studies by undertaking a research project module. This gives you the opportunity to explore a self-selected area relevant to national or global midwifery practice.You can study this module on a full-time or part-time basis, or by distance learning.The course has two entry points a year – September and January. If you start in September you complete in May. If you prefer a January start date you will complete in July. You are supported by an academic supervisor throughout the module.

Applicants must: have successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery course in the UK; be currently registered as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and practicing as a midwife.
