Explore new ways to produce exciting choreography, whether you’re an established choreographer, a dance artist or a performance graduate.As part of this course you’ll:Find new ways to produce innovative choreographyChoose optional modules to create an individual programme of study Explore your artistic interests and make several new pieces of choreographyEngage with the latest research and insights, and learn how to apply this to real-world situationsDevelop the skills to respond to a brief, curate work for festivals and events, and collaborate on and initiate interdisciplinary and experimental projectsExplore traditional and alternative settings for dance and performance, from the studio and theatre to galleries and museums
Applicants should either have at least a second-class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the arts or cultural industries. All suitable candidates will be required to attend an interview, during which they will be required to discuss their current interests and practice in the subject area. Candidates based overseas will be supported to undertake this electronically and/or by telephone.
