I commute from the Isle of Wight. The university is a short hovercraft ride away, and well connected with public transport. The walk goes past the library, which is handy, and I love how well the university is integrated into the city, rather a standalone campus. The staff are incredibly supportive, and the library offers postal service of resources for distance learners like myself. If I had to recommend anything, some of the facilities are aging, but the university is updating these. I'm genuinely enjoying my learning journey.

Very nice location, next to the beach and sea side. The campus being all around the city makes it feel like less of a community perhaps.

Really great library support and academic skills support. Great IT facilities. A long way to travel from the North of the country. Interesting city. Beautiful part of the country.

The worst aspect of my uni experience is having to go to class everyday of the week. The timetable is not flexible enough for a masters student and you’re unable to work during the week. This is a personal experience, it might not be the same for others. But I think the school should be a lot more flexible with the time tables such that students are able to work and learn at the same time.
