International Relations and Music - BA (Hons)

SOAS University of London

The location and facilities are great. The support from teaching staff are great. The non academic staffs are not great!!!

I love the overall uni feeling as it is very student targeted and is lively therefore making it quite nice to socialise and study, teachers are really interesting and often listen to student feedback. That being said, student feedback doesn't have much of a meaningful impact as it is assessed quite late into the terms. In some cases, it is also looked at artificially or not being listened to at all when it comes to administrative things.

It's very chill , in central london and the subjects are very interesting and decolonial. The lecturers are very good at what they do. It is lacking in huge university events and festivals with most being arranged by societies very rarely.

I’ve only been here for a week so I don’t k ow that much. But so far I’ve had positive experience across all aspects from facilities to support to academics!!

Administration is a little slow and Student Union is a lot weaker than it should be but honestly cause it great, teachers are fantastic and location is spot on
